LIVE THE MALTERIES SOUFFLET EXPERIENCE

Human teams, an international environment

A malting plant is an industrial site that is often large (our malting plant in Nogent-sur-Seine covers lots of hectares and produces 264,000 tonnes of malt per year). But a malting plant is primarily a human-sized space, bringing together a close-knit team of 25 to 50 employees who know how to rely on the commitment and responsibility of each individual to produce, in complete safety, malt that meets the expectations of local or international customers. Sited in a residential area, our industrial units are also committed to reducing the impact of their processes on the environment as much as possible, and each of our employees takes up this challenge every day. Thanks to its human-scale operations, the know-how and potential of each individual can be more easily revealed and encouraged through training or career development, sometimes even internationally. At Malteries Soufflet, we share a simple objective: to produce malt of exceptional quality for our customers while guaranteeing the safety and health of all our employees.

Focus on expatriates / V.I.E

Having 29 malting plants in 15 countries yields a lot of potential to gain international experience and develop multicultural and linguistic skills in the many languages spoken within Malteries Soufflet. With the LIFE scheme, which is a real gateway to employment within the Group, we regularly take on young graduates across all of our business lines: agronomy, industry, finance and sales. They are offered levels of responsibility that allow for significant skills development, and at the end, many of them exchange their adventure for expatriation or come to join the teams in France.
