Sowing Good Sense
Ambitious sustainable barley supply chains
Sowing Good Sense is the InVivo Group’s sustainable supply chain approach. Today, it brings together more than 4,000 farmers involved in sustainable barley-malt production in France and abroad, who implement more environmentally friendly farming practices that promote biodiversity, soil fertility and the reduction of the carbon footprint.
By involving all the players in the sustainable barley-malt supply chains, Sowing Good Sense creates value upstream and downstream, from farmer to consumer, from field to bottle.
Faced with the challenges of climate change, the Sowing Good Sense approach helps to reduce Malteries Soufflet’s carbon footprint. Our ambition is to reduce our carbon emissions by 50% on scopes 1 and 2 by 2030, and aim for zero net emissions by 2050, which would enable us to meet the needs of our customers and the expectations of consumers.
